POLICIES & INFORMATION
Data deletion instructions
Request a review of your Ballot data.
Effective October 20, 2026
Start a request
Email support@ballotpost.com with the subject Ballot data deletion request. Include your sign-in email, whether you used the target beta or legacy demo, and the data you want reviewed. Do not send passwords, tokens, payment details or identity documents in the initial message.
Verification and scope
The operator must verify account ownership and clarify scope before taking action. A request is not immediate deletion. Identity verification procedures, response commitments and retention schedules require final review.
What may be affected
Verified requests may concern account records, brand assets, drafts and private media, connected accounts and credentials, approvals, delivery records, notices and generation usage. Required legal, incident and backup retention must be assessed. No automated deletion or deauthorization callback is active.
Meta authorization and published posts
Removing access through Meta and requesting deletion from Ballot are separate actions. Use Meta connected-app controls to remove authorization. Already published posts must be managed through the relevant Meta account. In-flight or unknown deliveries require safety review to prevent duplicates.
Separate systems
The target beta and legacy demo are separate systems. Identify which you used. A request for one does not automatically apply to the other.
Government request procedure
The owner and legal adviser approved the government request procedure on October 20, 2026. Sobowale Tunde is accountable, with intake at support@ballotpost.com. Authority verification, legal review, appropriate challenge, data minimization and a restricted decision register are required. Retention and legal holds are assessed case by case. The procedure is reviewed annually.
